11:8. പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് ഊരിയാവോടു: നീ വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്നു കാലുകളെ കഴുകുക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഊരീയാവു രാജധാനിയിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ രാജാവിന്റെ സമ്മാനം അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു.

11:8. Then David said to Uriah, "Go down to your home and relax." When Uriah left the palace, the king sent a gift to him.

11:8. Then he told Uriah, "Go on home and relax. " David even sent a gift to Uriah after he had left the palace.

11:8. And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the kings house, and there followed him a mess of food from the king.

11:8. Then David said to Uriah, "Go down to your house and wash your feet." And Uriah went out of the king's house, and there followed him a present from the king.
